What is it?

The ESCAPE Club is a group of tourism businesses and attractions specifically sensitive to travelers 55+ in five European countries, which all comply with the ESCAPE Charter criteria and receive the relevant certificate. This Club includes members ranging from hotels, restaurants, coach companies, as well as cultural/historical attractions.

Objectives

The setting up of the ESCAPE Club is an attempt to boost the supply of senior-friendly services and products in the tourism industry across Europe.

Who can become a member?

At the moment, the ESCAPE Club membership is open to eligible establishments in Bulgaria, Cyprus, France, Italy and Portugal from the following sectors:

  • accommodation - hotels, hotel apartments, bed & breakfast, agrotourism/rural tourism establishments, cottages/villas for rental
  • hospitality – restaurants, cafes, bars
  • transport – buses/coaches, taxis, cars for rental, bicycles/bikes for rental
  • cultural & historical attractions – museums, galleries, theatres, cinemas

How to become a member?

If you would like to join the ESCAPE Club:

  • make sure that you comply with the ESCAPE Charter criteria
  • please contact one of the ESCAPE partner organisations in your country to arrange an on-site verification visit
  • membership is FREE and renewed every 2 years
